Following the Governments decision that we may reopen from 4th July 2020 we have the following plan of action.
The Club would open from 8pm on Friday and Saturday and Sunday from 2pm. On Sunday evening the Club will close at 7pm to clean and then reopen from 8 till 11 for over 50’s only. The Club would be open for Members only (over 16) and initially NO children would be allowed in the Club or to use the toilets (this will be reviewed regularly). A Manager will enforce the strict door policy to allow entry and due to reduced numbers in the Club they will decide when capacity is reached. Members will have their temperature taken before entry and be asked to compete the register with a phone number if contact is required later. Hand sanitiser will be available on entry.
All members need to adhere to the 2-metre social distance regulation where possible. The main door will be the way in, and exit will be via the fire exit door facing Wilton Road, no re-entry will be allowed through this door. Smokers will be asked to use the area between the two buildings using the fire exit door in the function room. Extra locks will be fitted to the main toilet doors to allow only one person in the toilet at a time. Sanitiser and paper towels will be available.
Staff will wear face visors, have gloves available and will wash their hands regularly. We have signage throughout the club to remind members about distancing and hand cleaning.
There will be a queue system at the bar and screens will protect the staff, drinks will be placed at the end of the bar. One staff will serve at each bar and will be responsible for regular cleaning. There will be no standing at the bar. Members will be encouraged to use their membership cards, visa card or cash at the bar.
The double doors will be open between the two rooms and the tables and chairs will be spaced and seating marked for safe distancing. There will be no games allowed – fruit machines, pool, snooker, cards etc.and the jukebox will be unavailable. The televisions will be on in the Club. The pool table is being moved to allow for a new seating area at the back of the Club.
